Synopsis
This course aims to enable teachers and trainers in post-compulsory education programs (schools, TAFE private and community providers) and in industry workplace training, to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in the design, development, implementation and assessment of competency-based programs that lead to nationally recognised vocational qualifications. As such, the course is designed to meet the requirements for students to demonstrate competence equivalent to completion of the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which is regarded as the industry standard for delivery and assessment of nationally recognised vocational training. Successful completion of this course requires learners to demonstrate competence 'on the job' and therefore has a mandatory 25 hour vocational placement.
