Synopsis

This course explores production management in manufacturing and service environments. Planning and controlling systems as well as continuous improvement of existing systems will be examined. Special emphasis will be given to the use of cost accounting information to improve efficiency and product quality. Specific topics covered include: total quality management, project management, economic value creation, materials resource planning, and supply chain management.
