Synopsis
This subject is designed to give students an understanding of the finance-related issues which are central to the success of all e-business. It provides an overview of e-commerce, including new developments such as logistics and RFID, wireless commerce and broadband, then looks at security issues, protocols and developments (for example, biometrics) and the related issue of risk, and also covers finance related topics such as payment systems and payments clearing, banking systems and issues, corporate systems and software, electronic financial markets, and aspects of government policy and strategy.
