LAC3004 In-Country Study/Professional Placement

Requisites

Pre-requisite: LAC2002 or equivalent

Synopsis

The purpose of this course is to give students the opportunity to experience work/study in the relevant target-country and to formally demonstrate and communicate the knowledge, skills and experiences gained overseas. It will require students to record and to reflect upon their in-country experiences and to communicate insights gained to peers in LAC and related studies upon their return to Australia in the target-language. It is invisaged that a formally recognised in-country experience will enhance students' Post-graduation employment prospects. Students should be aware that the number of students admitted into this course will be restricted and acceptance will be at the discretion of the course examiner
