Students will have their midwifery practice observed over the semester by an endorsed midwife to ensure that they are able to objectively meet the ANMC National competency Standards for the Midwife. Computer mediated conferencing will continue throughout the semester as a way of maintaining close contact and providing support to students but no new midwifery material is planned to be introduced.
