RequisitesPre-requisite: BIO2203 or BIO3313 SynopsisCardiovascular disease remains the major cause of death in Australia and a major cause of morbidity in the community, despite very large decreases over the last 40 years. This course will provide a thorough understanding of the structure and function of the cardiovascular system using information from the biomedical sciences including anatomy, histology, physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology. This will be augmented by a thorough coverage of the treatment options for cardiovascular disease. Course offers
