RequisitesPre-requisite: CDS2002 and CDS3001 and CDS3004 Other requisites
Students must be eligible for a blue card or its equivalent from State and Territory jurisdictions in order to complete Human Services programs at USQ. Students seeking to undertake practicums must be officially authorized to work with children before they can be placed in a human service organization. SynopsisThe student will understand the current place of counselling as a profession within the Australian context, will develop will learn the functions and roles of receiving and providing clinical supervision, develop strategies for maintaining counselling effectiveness and personal resilience, and develop advanced awareness of ethical and legal guidelines and decision making processes relevant to the counselling and supervisory roles.
