Pre-requisite: BIO2108 and BIO2216 Co-requisite: BIO3107 and BIO3108
Synopsis
This course provides students with an opportunity obtain the fundamental practical haematology and histology skills necessary to support their activity in a working pathology laboratory and/or research setting. Candidates will augment their specialised subject knowledge and academic skills with practical skills. This course will allow students to improve their learning by the application of the theoretical concepts and skills theories and graduate skills developed into a laboratory setting. It is envisaged that the work experience will enhance the student's post-graduation employment prospects.
