Synopsis

This course builds on courses in the Creative Media Major. You will be using and building on fundamental basics from Editing, Cinematic Language and Single Camera Production.. In this course, you will develop additional skills in understanding the role of meaning through visual images and codes; the What, Where, Who, How and Why of Pre-production. Through this process you will gain understanding in moving from the written word to visual image and how that is captured in new media forms. We encourage you to develop an artist's 'voice'. You will also develop understanding of the individual artist journey, the creative process as well as the production process.
