SynopsisThe media industry is a rapidly evolving landscape. Old models of media production and distribution are being replaced or expanded by digital, on-line technologies. As a result, new media theories and practices are being conceived and created at an exceedingly rapid rate. This course teaches students advanced new media theories and how projects can be produced and delivered across multiple platforms. This can take the form of a project across a number of broadcast arenas, namely, digital or 3D cinema, digital television and radio, and the Web. To enable a practitioner to create such a project a thorough understanding of advanced production skills and technology needs to be achieved. Course offers
