MUI1007 Fundamentals of Music
SynopsisThis course provides a survey of the rudiments of music and its notation, including such concepts as the notation of pitches, note values, rhythms, intensity, articulation, metre, tempo and understanding simple musical forms. Scale structure and major and minor keys, using both treble and bass clefs, will also feature in this course. The course further provides an introduction to the role of technology in music making, including the use of music notation software. Course offers
