Synopsis

This course will provide studies in Teaching Pedagogy relating to a particular instrument or voice. Topics include human and musical development, the lesson environment, practice of music teaching, aspects of fundamental tone and technique, and mentored teaching. As this course follows from course MUI 2041, students will be required to develop their expertise in each of the designated areas to a more advanced level.
