Other requisites
Students must currently be studying Music Performance at Level 3 (i.e. year 3) or higher at a Queensland Tertiary Institution. In odd numbered years the course is open to vocalists and in even numbered years the course is open to instrumentalists.

Synopsis
This course is an intensive Music Performance course intended to enable students to acquire an advanced degree of both conceptual and executant skills development in the area of Music Performance.
In this course, students will attend and participate in USQ's Advanced Music Performance Masterclass. On successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to apply for the current year's Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship. Students will gain an advanced level of understanding and application of technique specific to their solo instrument and an appreciation of classical and contemporary styles of singing with reference to their respective genres and cross-overs. Students will also gain knowledge and experience of applied Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Specific emphasis will be placed on preparing a program of repertoire for a mock audition to be held at USQ's Advanced Music Performance Masterclass.
