Synopsis

In this course leadership is explored within the broader context of a changing world of work. The nature of and challenges related to leadership in the workplace are explored. This includes focusing on communication challenges in the modern-day organisation of the ICT-driven era. The essentials of group dynamics and developing better teams and enhancing team-work are also explored. Whenever two or more people work together we are bound to come across some conflict as well from time to time - and hence conflict and the management thereof are also investigated. As part hereof, the art of negotiation is also explored.
