RequisitesPre-requisite: SVY2106 or Students must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: GCNS or GCST or GDNS or GDST or MSST or MENS SynopsisAn overview of statistical theory is followed by its application to the analysis and adjustment of survey observations using the Least Squares method. Both manual methods, using hand held programmable calculators, and computer software packages are used to process the data from a variety of practical problems. Students are taught to analyse and understand the results of adjustments. The course examines the adjustment of terrestrial and GPS observations and coordinate transformations. Course offers
