Requisites
Pre-requisite: Students must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: BAPM or BCRA or BEDU
Synopsis
Students learn to understand the various strategies of professional practise in art galleries and museums. Students build technical, analytical and research skills within all in all visual arts areas. All student's study will be supplemented with project work and will be reinforced by lectures and discussions on contemporary arts/crafts practice, analysing the work of established professionals in order to increase student insight into their own practice.
The literacy used at this level will be commensurate with skill-development in creating/imbedding sound practice strategies suitable for 1st Year.
NOTE: Both ONCAMPUS and EXTERNAL course will be underpinned by history and theory lectures in associated visual arts courses.
