VSA1003 Soft Architecture
SynopsisSoft Architecture is the art of spatial investigations, interventions and the way in which artists construct space through colour, site, language and context. As a result this course discusses how interiority is a physical, virtual, perceptual, experimental space, negotiating between the natural and the artificial. Students in this class will be researching experimental ideas that are both historical and contemporary in context. The overall aim of this course is for students to experiment with ideas and to develop an understanding of a variety of contemporary art methodologies which allows them to construct their own individual responses to the art theory being discussed.
