Requisites

Pre-requisite: Students must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: BCRA or BEDU

Other requisites

It is advisable that students have completed VSA 1002 Contemporary Art Practice 1 and VSA1001 Contemporary Art Practice 2.

Synopsis

Students learn to understand the various strategies of professional practise in art galleries and museums. Students build technical, analytical and research skills within all in all visual arts areas. All student's study will be supplemented with project work and will be reinforced by lectures and discussions on contemporary arts/crafts practice, analysing the work of established professionals in order to increase student insight into their own practice.

The literacy used at this level will be commensurate with the application of skills in practice and theory in a manner suitable for 2nd Year.
