Consultancies

'Consultancies' refers to projects that have been initiated or inspired by another work facilitated by Creative Communities. For instance, the latest consultancy of Creative Communities is the WaterWise Digital Stories project.

The Queensland department of Natural Resources and Water (NRW) are taking over the WaterWise Schools Program and have enlisted the help of Creative Communities to develop digital stories for inclusion on the new WaterWise website. Over a three month period at the end of 2007, Creative Communities created six digital stories.

This consultancy emerged after NRW accessed the data gathered from the Cultural Catchments project. The 2006 cache of photographs, digital stories and filmed version of the Theatre in Education show which toured the Lower Balonne in late 2006 helped to develop the ideas of NRW and what they wanted to achieve from employing Creative Communities.
