Defence Project: A Guest in Your Own House

Under the care and guidance of Senior Lecturer, Robert Ketton, this project worked to engage the defence community in discussion about separation issues and family 'chaos' through deployments. 

Through collecting stories from Defence members and their families (hosted by social workers with the Defence Department in Toowoomba), Robert Ketton worked with three Theatre Studies students to create a script that could be performed by acting students in order to illustrate families' experiences. This was performed for Defence families on 15 September 2006 and included discussions and advice from the local psychologist community.
