Special Forever

Purpose

This project used Drama to assist Colleen in her pedagogy about Special Forever with students in Yrs 6-7 at St George State School. The support was in the form of using drama games, low-risk drama processes in order to encourage and facilitate writing, use of drama to promote visual and cultural literacy, and use of drama to link with natural resource management and aspects of the work with QMDC in the region (QMDC are the sponsors of this dramatic work). Drama was used here as a stimulus for writing, literacy and critical reflection by the students about their place.
