Tough Times

Ten Rural Men tell their stories on how they got through some difficult times in their lives.

The stories for this book were collected for a research project entitled Rural Men Getting Through Adversity: Stories of Resilience. One important component of this study was to share the information that had been attained from the participants who were men going through difficult times in their lives.

The main motivation behind the ten men taking part in the study was their vision of sharing experiences and feelings that are only rarely talked about between men.  In telling their stories they hoped to help their fellow men get through tough times.

The book is available from the Centre for a cost of AUD$5 including postage.
