Authors: Hegney, D., Fallon, T., Crepinsek, M., O'Brien, M., Doolan, J.
This study explored the experiences of two cohorts of women, one that persisted in breastfeeding through extraordinary difficulties and the other that experienced similar problems but elected to cease breastfeeding.
A primarily qualitative approach to this exploratory study was employed to investigate what qualities/characteristics each group possessed in making their decision to breastfeed or not.
