This report presents the views of the health service providers as to what they considered were the most important factors affecting the health service and the delivery of health in rural and remote southern Queensland.

Data collected from each of the eight towns in which workshops were held has been combined to generate all the topics (or themes) that were of concern and then rank those themes. Each theme is presented in the report and the issues within that theme discussed and illustrate with comments made by participants. Differences in results across the town are presented.

The report also compares the results obtained in 2006 from a similar workshop held in Toowoomba in 2003.
