Evaluating information literacy and its application to Clinical Decision Making in nursing.
Information literacy has been identified by the University of Southern Queensland as an essential Graduate Attribute.
Clinical Decision Making and the use of Evidence Based Practice are essential competencies for contemporary nurses.
The purpose of this project is to design evaluative tools to determine if integrated/embedded information literacy instruction facilitates student learning and confidence in information seeking and management and how the application of these skills transfers into the development of beginning Clinical Decision Making in nursing students.
