A Needs Analysis of Medical Specialist Services in Specific Communities in South West Queensland.

This scope of this project is to determine regional priorities and service gaps for medical specialist services in the towns of Goondiwindi, Chinchilla, Roma, St George, Charlevile, Cunnamulla, Quilpie and Kingaroy and their surrounding communities. 

There is an additional need to determine the availablity and willingness of medical specialistists to provide services to these communities.

The data provided will assist the Southern Queensland Rural Division of General Practice in completing a submission to continue the Medical Specialist Outreach Assistance Program.
