It is your responsibility to check when all your assignments are due and ensure they are submitted on time. However, if you were unable to submit your assignment due to unforeseen circumstances, you can apply for an assignment extension.
The decision to grant or refuse an extension is made by the course examiner. Please be aware that the application for an extension does not guarantee the extension will be granted.
We recommend you try to submit your application before your assignment is due. If this is not possible, you can apply for an extension when you submit your assignment by completing the ‘Assignment Extension’ box on your assignment coversheet. You will need to supply supporting documentation.
To apply for an extension on a CMA assignment, attach a letter and supporting documentation to the CMA mail-in answer sheet.
To apply for an extension for all other assignments, you can apply via Ask USQ > Ask a Question > and select ‘other’ as the question type.
If you wish to discuss the due date of your assignment with the lecturer you may contact them directly, or submit a question via Ask USQ to arrange contact.
Further information is available within USQ's policy on late submission of assignments.
