Submitting your assignments

You can submit your assignments by post, electronically or in person. Please ensure you keep a copy of any assignment submitted (including proof of postage).

Please note, if you are enrolled via a USQ Partner you must submit your assignment to your USQ partner.

Posting your assignments

The cost of posting your assignments to USQ will be your responsibility.

All assignments should be addressed to:

Campus Services
University of Southern Queensland
West Street
Toowoomba Qld 4350 Australia

If you are posting assignments from outside Australia they must be sent to USQ by air mail.

Once your assignment has been marked it will be returned to you via Australia Post to domestic addresses and via TNT to international addresses.

Once you have posted the assignment, you can check to see if we received your assignment:

  1. Log into UConnect
  2. Click the UDo tab
  3. Locate the class in the Enrolments section of the Student Centre
  4. Select the Gradebook link.

Electronic submission of assignments

If you are required to submit your assignments electronically via EASE, you can check the submission details via USQStudyDesk > Current Courses > Assignment Management.

If you think you have submitted the assignment incorrectly, you need to advise your lecturer via Ask USQ. Our student support staff will advise the lecturer of your request and assist you with any further queries about electronic assignments submission.

Hand delivery of assignments

If you are a distance education student, your assignment drop box is located at the bottom floor of G Block at the Toowoomba Campus.

The assignment box at reception is cleared every weekday at 5pm and date-stamped for that date. Assignments that arrive after 5pm are date stamped the following weekday.

If you are an on-campus student, you can deliver your assignments to the reception area of your Faculty.

Faxed assignments

We do not recommend submitting your assignment via fax. Faxed assignments have a potential for problems such has illegibility or missing pages, which may negatively affected your mark if this occurs.

Before you consider faxing your assignment, check your course specifications, as some examiners will not accept assignments submitted via fax.

If you do decide to fax your assignment, your coversheet must be the first page of the fax submission. At the top of each page of your assignment, please include your name and student number. Do not send a copy of your fax assignment via mail and please don’t fax your Computer Managed Assessment (CMA) assignments.

For distance education students the fax number is +61 7 4636 1049. If you are an on-campus student, fax your assignments to your Faculty.
