Conditions of hire

The hire of academic dress is subject to the following conditions:

• academic dress hired must be returned within an hour after the conclusion of the ceremony to the location you received it, or an additional hire charge may be payable
• graduates must come dressed for the graduation ceremony when collecting their academic dress, as academic dress cannot be taken away from the venue
• a charge for cleaning or repairs may be levied if the gown is returned in a soiled or damaged condition. If any item of academic dress is returned in a damaged condition the graduate will be liable to pay the purchase price of that item.
