The Fraser Coast Graduation Ceremony follows this order of proceedings:
The Fraser Coast campus graduations take place at the Brolga Theatre in Maryborough. Please arrive one to one and half hours prior to the ceremony at Maryborough Town Hall on Kent Street, Maryborough. Arriving early will ensure enough time for registration and gowning. Once you have your gown on and know your seat allocation, you should remain in close proximity to the Hall ready to process to the Brolga Theatre.
Gowning will take place at Maryborough Town Hall on Kent Street, and on arrival you will need to:
The duration of the graduation ceremony is usually one and half to two hours. On conclusion of the ceremony you and your guests will be invited to join USQ representatives for afternoon tea.
You may bring a maximum of five guests (not including yourself) to the ceremony. Children are welcome, however, every child that occupies a seat will be counted as one guest. You are required to indicate the number of guests you would like to attend on the online Graduate Response Form. If you would like to bring more guests please contact the Fraser Coast campus and we will endeavour to accommodate you.

The auditorium is wheelchair friendly. However, if you have any concerns regarding access please contact us so that we can accommodate you and your guests on your graduation day.
The average temperatures in May range from a minimum of 20 degrees celsius to a maximum of 28 degrees celsius and can often be windy. If rain is forecast, the procession will travel from Maryborough Town Hall to the Brolga Theatre by bus.
