In 2004, the University of Southern Queensland became a member of the Elite Athlete Friendly University (EAFU) Network. If you are a USQ student who has to deal with competing demands of sport and study, you will have direct access to appropriate support services designed to help you achieve your full academic potential.
The EAFU Network was established to assist universities in supporting their students. USQ joined the network in recognition of the need to assist elite athletes, coaches, managers and performance artists who belong to the student community. The network was established by the Australian Institute of Sport as well as state and territory institutes and academies of sport.
USQ offers two scholarships in 2013 to students studying at USQ who are registered or eligible to register as a member of the USQ Elite Athlete Program.
