USQ Committees

2013 Semester 1 - USQ Academic Board, Education Committee

The Education Committee is responsible to Academic Board for providing leadership in relation to academic activities, including learning and teaching, programs and courses, and educational partnerships.

Nominations are hereby called for students enrolled in an undergraduate program at USQ to fill one (1) vacancy, and students enrolled in a postgraduate program at USQ to fill one (1) vacancy on the USQ Education Committee for a term of office until August 2015.

2013 Semester 1 - USQ Academic Board, Research Committee

The Research Committee is responsible to Academic Board for providing leadership in relation to the quality assurance of research and research training.

Nominations are hereby called for students enrolled in a postgraduate research program at USQ, to fill two (2) vacancies on the USQ Research Committee for a term of office until August 2015.

2013 Semester 1 - USQ Social Justice Committee

The Social Justice Committee is charged with responsibility for ensuring that any programs and practices the University engages in with the wider community are consistent with enlightened principles of equity, social justice and inclusiveness.

Nominations are hereby called for students enrolled in a program at USQ to fill two (2) vacancies on the USQ Social Justice Committee for a two (2) year term of office.

2013 Semester 1 - USQ Social Justice, Multicultural and Transnational Advisory Committee

The Multicultural and Transnational Advisory Committee’s role is to advise the University on multicultural and transnational issues, to promote USQ as a multicultural and transnational University in all internal and external dealings, and to provide a forum for discussing multicultural and transnational matters. The Committee has a particular role in considering the interests of students and staff from non-English speaking backgrounds and from different cultures and traditions.

Nominations are hereby called for students enrolled in a program at USQ to fill two (2) vacancies on the USQ Social Justice Committee for a one (1) year term of office.
