The Social Justice Committee is charged with responsibility for ensuring that any programs and practices the University engages in with the wider community are consistent with enlightened principles of equity, social justice and inclusiveness. The Multicultural and Transnational Advisory Committee’s role is to advise the University on multicultural and transnational issues, to promote USQ as a multicultural and transnational University in all internal and external dealings, and to provide a forum for discussing multicultural and transnational matters. The Committee has a particular role in considering the interests of students and staff from non-English speaking backgrounds and from different cultures and traditions.
