Industry Experience Program
The USQ Industry Experience Program has been designed to assist students to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of career opportunities.
This program is a practical learning-based industry experience program that allows an organisation to host a student for unpaid industry experience up to 30 days over a designated period of time.
What about Insurance
The University of Southern Queensland has entered into a contract of insurance indemnifying the student and the Industry Experience provider against liability for personal injury or property damage suffered by the student, the Industry Experience provider or another person arising out of the work experience.
You may benefit from your participation in the Industry Experience Program by:
- exposing yourself to realistic work situations and environments
- building and maintaining professional relationships with relevant industry employers or representatives
- receiving training in job application procedures and practicing these with feedback from the program coordinator
- expanding your professional network.
