Appointments for the USQ Student Services Health Service can be made:
Standard consultations are 15 minutes. Please advise reception if you require a longer appointment (for certain procedures or medicals). Emergencies will always be given priority and reception staff will attempt to contact you if there are any unforeseen delays. No appointment is necessary to see the Campus Nurse for first aid and urgent health matters.
The Campus Nurse (Toowoomba campus) is available Monday - Friday from 9.00am - 4.30pm. It is advisable to make an appointment to see the Nurse.
Services provided include:
All enrolled domestic students who hold current a Medicare card are bulk billed. All currently enrolled International students who hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) are direct billed. Other patients (i.e. staff and non-enrolled students) are billed according to the AMA fee structure, which is displayed in the reception area. There is no cost to see the Campus Nurse. Fees are payable at the time of consultation (cash payment only).
