Toowoomba

Mirambeena Children’s Centre is an independently run, community based, not for profit child care centre located close to the Toowoomba campus. It is governed by C&K and offers high quality Kindergarten education for children aged 3 months to pre-prep.

Springfield

At Springfield, Kindy Patch operates two separate childcare centres within close proximity to the campus. While these centre are not formally affiliated with USQ, they offer quality care for children from 6 weeks to pre-prep.

Fraser Coast

The Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre offers Limited Hours Child Care for children 0 – 5years on Monday and Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm. This facility is within walking distance to USQ Fraser Coast and offers quality care for students seeking study time on campus.

Distance Students

You can find a local child care service in your region by visiting MyChild. This resource also provides up to date information on vacancies and costs of childcare.

Fees

Childcare fees depend on the type of care and the hours attended. Information about fee schedules and fee policy should be obtained from your childcare provider before enrolment.

Assistance is available to support parents and guardians with covering the costs of child care. Visit MyChild for more information on:

International students

Most international students are expected to meet full childcare fees for their children. Students sponsored or subsidised by the Australian Government may be eligible for childcare assistance. Please contact your Welfare Officer if you have any further questions.
