Psychological Resilience

Resilience refers to refers to our ability to cope with problems, setbacks, or adversity and recover relatively quickly from negative experiences.

Whilst resilience doesn’t prevent people from experiencing difficulties or stressful events, it can give you the strength to deal with those difficulties or problems effectively. Some people are naturally more resilient than others because of their personality characteristics or temperaments, but resilience can also be learned – you can build the skills to help you to face and overcome life’s challenges.
