Examinations and results

The examination timetable is available approximately six weeks prior to the start of each exam period.

Examination periods for 2011 are:

 Semester 1   14 June to 27 June 2011                                
 Semester 2 31 October to 11 November 2011
 Semester 3 30 January to 10 February 2012

Examinations are held during a two week period at the end of the Semester. Starting times for examinations are normally 8.30am, 11.30am and 2.30pm, however starting times may vary at some centres.

Examinations will mostly be 2 hours duration, although some examinations will take 3 hours.

Prior to sitting for an examination, you should familiarise yourself with USQ's examination procedures. These procedures include information on:

  • examination code of conduct
  • materials/tools accepted during examinations
  • deferred examinations
  • students with disabilities.

Try it! UConnect Learning Examination centres

Examination centres have been established throughout Australia and in some overseas cities. It is USQ policy that if you live within 100 kilometres of an established examination centre, you must sit for examinations at that centre.

You should note that the list of common exam centres (PDF 30 kb) is subject to change.

You can search for exam centres by navigating to:

  1. Login to UConnect
  2. Click UDo tab
  3. Click My Program
  4. Click Change my exam centre within the Examinations field. Your current exam centre will be listed

To change your exam centre:

  1. Click the Look up Exam Centre button
  2. Select your new exam centre from the list provided
  3. Click Change Exam Centre button
  4. Click OK

It is your responsibility to ensure that your exam centre is correct.

Examination results

Results are usually available 2 weeks after the exam period and can be accessed from UConnect. You will be required to logon using your USQ username and password. 

You should refer to the results legend and glossary to assist you with any queries relating to your grades.

Academic transcripts

You may print an unofficial academic transcript if required from UConnect. Alternatively, you may submit a request for a formal academic transcript to the Student Support Office.
