Delivery of materials

The Distance and e-Learning Centre (DeC) begins mailing study materials 6 weeks before the semester commences. When your study package has been dispatched, you will receive an email providing the date of despatch, method of delivery, content items and consignment number.

Students within Australia will receive their package by Australia Post courier service and overseas packages are delivered using TNT Express couriers. Students can monitor the status of their study package via USQConnect and track it via the courier once it has been dispatched from USQ.

If there is a delay in the production of study material for a particular course, DeC may begin part mailing whereby you may receive part of your study package. Your packing slip will advise you the outstanding item(s) will be mailed when available. You will receive the remainder of your package in a separate mailing as soon as it is available.

Overseas post office boxes

TNT does not deliver to post office box addresses overseas in most countries. The few exceptions include the UAE, India, South Africa, Zimbabwe, the Middle East, PNG and the Pacific Islands, and only if a phone number is provided. In all other countries, a physical street address must be provided or the parcel won’t leave Australia.

If you have an alternative address, please notify Outreach Services via USQAssist. Failure to do this may delay the despatch of your package.

Internet delivery

A number of courses are delivered partially or entirely via the Internet. For courses which have some material on the Internet and some in print or other forms, you will find details and usage instructions in course introductory materials.

Online materials are accessed via the USQStudyDesk in USQConnect using your USQConnect username and password.

Delivery via USQ Education Partners

Students who are enrolled via USQ Education Partners will not be sent individual study packages. Study materials are bulk-mailed from USQ to the partner's office for collection before semester starts provided you are currently enrolled.
