USQConnect

USQConnect is the gateway, or portal, to USQ's electronic systems. The links beyond the portal allow you to access:

• online study materials
• online enrolment
• personal details including contact information
• USQ-based email accounts and much more.

You can think of USQConnect as a door that leads to several underlying systems, including USQStudyDesk, USQAdmin and USQAssist that are personalised to you and your program.

This integrated approach means you are assured of wide-ranging, up-to-date information via a consistent and easy-to-use interface.

How do I access USQConnect?

The USQConnect service can be accessed from any computer via the Internet at http://usqconnect.usq.edu.au using your USQConnect username and password to log on to the system. Your password is included on your Letter of Offer (new students) or Letter of Reinstatment (returning students). Continuing students will retain the same password as the previous year.

Passwords should be changed every semester, detailed instructions are available to assist you.

What do I have access to?

From USQConnect you have access to the following:

• USQStudyDesk - access to Start-up materials (i.e the introductory materials and the first two modules of the study book) and any of the following: discussion forums, recorded lectures, past exam papers and assessment items, including any CMA tests, for each course 
• USQAdmin - change your password, create a University email address, view your enrolment details, change your contact details, add and drop courses, access Learning Circles, and view your personal information including financial details, assignment marks, exam timetables and final grades. 
• USQAssist - a web self-serve facility for you to find answers to common questions, ask a question and update your questions, in your own time, 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Before your password can be reset, staff are required to authenticate the request by checking student information such as date of birth, full name and student number, address etc. Students should always ensure their personal contact information is always up to date.
