All students should also familiarise themselves with the Policy on Refund of Fees in the University Calendar section 4.6.3.

Domestic students

Generally, if you withdraw from a course before the census date, you will not be liable for fees for that course. 

If you withdraw before the census date, and have already paid up-front fees for a course, a refund may be requested from the USQ Financial Services Department at usqdebt@usq.edu.au or +61 7 4631 1865. Please refer to the census dates prior to withdrawing from a course.

Generally, if you withdraw from a course after the census date, the fee liability remains unless an application has been made under special circumstances to waive academic penalty and reverse fees. 

International students

International students should refer to the International Office for information regarding the USQ International Refund Policy.
