Accommodation form for students who wish to stay at USQ Residential Colleges during Semester 3 2009 Residential Schools.

On-Campus accommodation
Accommodation is available at the USQ Residential Colleges.
Please note: Generally every attempt is made to locate students from the same faculty in the same College and residential block. However, due to the heavy demand for places, it may not be possible to satisfy special requests for a specific room or to be in the same block as others. If you want to indicate who you wish to be located near, please do so, but no guarantees can be given.
Confirmation of booking
Accommodation will be offered on a first-come first-served basis and preference is given to students requiring accommodation for three or more nights. Accommodation will only be provided where payment has been made in full for your intended stay. Please do not send cash through the mail as no responsibility is accepted for any loss.
Your on-campus accommodation will be confirmed in writing.
Booking in and out times
Students who have confirmed on-campus accommodation can book in at the College office, McGregor College, Baker Street, Toowoomba.

Booking in can only be provided at the times indicated. If you are unable to make your travel arrangements to coincide with the above booking in times, please contact the College office on +617 4631 2650 as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements. On the day of your departure, please vacate your room and return your key to the College office by no later than 10.00am. A replacement key charge of $110.00 applies to anyone not returning their key on departure. Luggage can be left at the Heathwood Room, McGregor College until 4.30pm (Monday to Friday). Please ensure that your bags are clearly marked with your name and address.
What to bring
Toowoomba weather is often unpredictable. You should therefore bring at least some warm clothing, particularly for the evening. Please bring your own toiletries, washing powder and pegs, etc. Students are also reminded to bring their own alarm clock.
Meals and meal times
The Colleges provide breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Mid-week, students are provided with the ingredients to make their own lunch at breakfast time. The College Dining Halls will prepare meals to meet students special dietary requirements. If you have specific needs, please note these on your accommodation booking form in the 'Special Requirements' section.

Refunds and cancellations
If your application is received after all rooms have been filled, your payment will be refunded in full.
All cancellations will incur a $27.50 administration fee. Any student who cancels their booked accommodation less than 24 hours prior to their arrival will receive a refund less the cancellation fee and one night's accommodation.
The only exception to this rule is where the Faculty alters or cancels the program in circumstances beyond the control of the student. In these circumstance, please advise the Accommodation Officer, in writing, of the reason for the cancellation.
Refund claims cannot be entertained for students who do not arrive and have not advised of cancellation prior to commencement of the Residential School. Requests for refunds will only be considered upon receipt of a written claim.

The Residential Colleges office is unable to assist you in finding off-campus accommodation.
Fraser Coast Accommodation
Fraser Coast campus does not have on-campus student accommodation. Information on current accommodation options within the Fraser Coast area is available. Please note that each student is responsible for making their own accommodation bookings.
Social events
USQ Student Guild will host Trivia nights during Residential Schools, details will be published here closer to the Residential School commencement date. All students are invited to attend.
