USQ Security

Safety Notice Boards are located in most campus buildings. These notice boards are used to provide information to staff, students and visitors. Maps are displayed to provide information on:

• floor plans
• evacuation paths
• assembly area location.

Other information displayed will include:

• the name, location and extension number of the Building Warden
• the name, location and extension number of the Deputy Building Warden
• the names, locations and extension numbers of all Emergency Squad Members
• the University of Southern Queensland Occupational Health and Safety Policy
• the first aid status of all building emergency personnel
• other general interest safety articles and information.

Staff and students should make themselves familiar with the locations of the safety notice boards in their areas, and refer to them regularly.
