Student ID card
Toowoomba campus
Student ID cards are provided by the USQ Student Guild. You will need to know your student number, which is on your Enrolment Notice, and register with the Student Guild web site to in order to get a student ID card.
ID cards are available from the Members Help Desk at the Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre (F Block) from 9.00am to 5.00pm (AEST), Monday to Friday. These times will be shortened during the first few weeks of semester.
Your ID card will admit you into the Computer Labs, allow you to borrow books from the Library, use the photocopiers and purchase items from some of the vending machines on campus. You will also be able to use your ID card to purchase goods in some food outlets on campus.
Springfield campus
Student ID cards are available from the Security Office during Orientation.
Fraser Coast campus
Fraser Coast Student ID cards are available from the Fraser Coast Student Guild Representative located in A126, A Block from 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Fraser Coast students will need their ID cards to borrow from the Library and to enter the Computer Labs after hours. Please note these times will vary during orientation week.
Off-campus students
To obtain an ID Card, you will need to download an ID Card application form from the Student Guild website, fill the ID Card Application Form out and post it in with a passport size photograph of yourself which has been witnessed on the back by an authorised person to the USQ Student Guild.
Discounts available
Some businesses offer discounts to students upon presentation of their Student ID Card.
Full-time students wishing to receive the transport discount will require the Tertiary Transport Card issued by Queensland Transport. To obtain the Tertiary Transport Card, students will have to complete the application available on the web at Queensland Transport and have it verified by a University staff member.
