Marriage Certificate
-
Deed Poll Certificate
-
Birth Certificate.
Please submit this documentation with your name and student number to Student Support so your records can be updated accordingly.
Changing your citizenship status
If you have changed your citizenship status to Australian, you will need to send a certified copy of your Certificate of Australian Citizenship.
If you have changed your citizenship status to Permanent Resident, or have been granted a Permanent Humanitarian Visa, you will need to send a certified copy of the relevant pages of your passport including the front page, the Permanent Resident Visa or the Permanent Humanitarian Visa and the page showing the entry date into Australia (if resident outside Australia when the visa was granted).
What are certified copies of documents?
To have documentation certified you need to take your original documents and a copy of each document to an authorised person in your community. Authorised persons include Justices of the Peace, Commissioners for Declarations, Notary Publics, Police Officers, School Teachers or University professors. They need to sign on your copies that they are true and correct, print their name and position and if possible affix an official stamp.
