Materials Development Officers

The Materials Development Officers (MDOs) are responsible for the facilitation of learning materials through the production process, from initial writing to dispatch to USQ students. There is close liaison between the MDOs, Electronic Publishing Services staff and the subject matter specialists in course teams (see the table below for a listing of MDOs and their allocated faculties).

MDOs ‘mark-up' drafts of learning materials to ensure they meet USQ style and format specifications.  They also ensure that all materials are reproduced within the limits of copyright legislation. The quality of presentation is closely monitored and careful cross-checking is undertaken so that materials remain consistent.
