He delivered a report as Chair of the Working Party on Institutional Collaboration. 28-30 July 1997: Dr David Ross attended the 13th Commonwealth Conference of Education Ministers Parallel Convention (with Professor Malcolm McKay). The conference was held in Gaborone, Botswana. USQ was invited to the conference to showcase its leading edge technology. 8-14 September 1997: USQ received an invitation to be the only Australian institution to participate in the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Telecom Interactive 97 Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
