Start your degree in Business

The Associate Degree of Business is the perfect way to start studying business at uni. The Associate Degree is a qualification in its own right, and you can stop there if you want to, but it is also a pathway to a Bachelor degree. This means that the 16 courses (subjects) that you study can count towards a Bachelor degree.

Core business knowledge

You will complete eight core business courses and then choose from an array of business courses which interest you including accounting, human resource management, marketing and international business.

It is best to have a chat to our Student Relationship Officers before finalising your decision on courses. If you are considering continuing onto a Bachelor degree, your choice of courses may have an impact later.

Further study

After completing the Associate Degree of Business, you can potentially go into a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce.

Career opportunities

As a graduate you will have general business knowledge for a career in the public or private sector, and dependent on the courses you studied, career opportunities in the disciplines of human resources, marketing, administration, information technology, supply chain management, tourism, small business management, international business and commerce.
