Combine your passion for travel with your interest in television, video and sound production by studying our Bachelor of Applied Media (Tourism Management).

You will be taught by lecturers who have worked in the industry for decades. Their experience in the tourism travel industry, events management, tradeshows, and international airlines will give you valuable insight into what the industry is like.

Throughout your degree, you will also have direct contact with industry professionals and through our own on-campus radio station ‘Phoenix Radio’ you will be able to see the inner workings of radio production.

Career paths

Tourism Management will prepare you for a career in destination promotion, documentary production, events management or travel journalism. By the time you’ve finished studying you will be well-equipped with skills and knowledge for media production positions involving the tourism industry.
