USQ’s Bachelor of Early Childhood gives you the skills and knowledge required to give a child the best possible start in life. Emphasis is placed on child-centred learning and positions graduates to work with expertise in child care and kindergarten centres.  Targeted professional experience placements, give you extensive experience in these settings. Unique additional engagement activities run throughout your degree, give you the opportunity to engage and network with current educators and industry specialists  and develop valuable teaching skills, an advantage when it comes to applying for jobs.

Offered completely online, on-campus, or a combination of both, this three year degree fits in with your life.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Early Childhood will have the skills, knowledge and experience required to work as a Director of a child care centre, family day care supervisor or group leader.

Professional accreditation

This program is accredited with the Queensland Office for Early Childhood Education and Care (formerly the Department of Communities). The program is not accredited with the Queensland College of Teachers and does not lead to teacher registration.
