Bachelor of Education (Special Education)

We’ll support you

Do you want a degree that equips you with the specialist knowledge, experience and skills required to work with children with disabilities and other special needs? The expert knowledge and experience of our dedicated staff will help to equip you to work in this rewarding and challenging field of education. Offered online, on-campus or in a combination of both, our flexible degree includes numerous specialist courses including study in behaviour management, Autism, and Spectrum Disorder and teaching students with high support needs. This degree also qualifies you as a regular primary school teacher.

The 100 days of professional experience gives you an excellent grounding in the school environment and in this specialist field. With regular opportunities to engage with current educators and industry, such as the Education Department, Queensland College of Teachers and Catholic Education, you’ll be able to cross the gap between theory and the classroom. This is one of the elements that make our graduates highly desired and employable.
